These guys, aside from the big run, played well tonight. Imagine having to watch that bum go out and blow it time and time again....I see some good things defense wise for the future. Get some speed at linebacker and resign Landry and Bell. I swear to god...I'm burning my Sanchez Jersey tomorrow.

Landry isn't taking a "hometown discount". After cutting Jason Smith, Bart Scott, Bryan Thomas, Calvin Pace, etc, we'll have $ to play around in FA. We definitely should re-sign Landry, but get a true FS to pair him with, not another SS. Even though Bell has played great and has been on the field almost, if not all defensive snaps this year. He's aging, and we aren't a win now team.

Ourr pass rush will only improve with Coples, Ellis and Wilkerson having another offseason, maybe draft an OLB 1st round. That being said, we're the #2 pass defense, this makes Revis tradeable. If we can get some amazing value, such as the Carson Palmer trade, pull the fucking trigger

Defense was solid as usual, they never get enough credit.

take away the 94 yard td run and CJ averaged about .7 yards per carry on 20 carries. Unreal. I feel bad for the Jets D, they don't deserve this shit.

In the 70's if the defense was this good and the offense this bad the defense would stuff the offense in the dumpster beaten and bruised.

Keep Revis, get some mean linebackers, and we'll have a very badass defence. Just gut the offence and if a new system can get us at least mediocre production in its 1st yr. then we are looking at being a contender again in what many will predict as a rebuilding year.

The O was brutal but the D is far from blameless, they did allow a 90+ yd TD then after we finally scored a TD and took the LEAD they wasted no time in giving the lead right back to Tennessee. let's not act like the D was spectacular, they had a chance to win the game for us and failed.

The offense had four fucking turnovers by your boy. It's a credit to the defense that we even had a chance to win.

I know i always feel bad for the D you can't expect them to shut the other team out every game that isn't realistic some point's are always gonna be scored 80% of the time. They did there job well enough and we had two chances to win the game in the final 3 minutes of the game and Sanchez did what he has done all season. If im a member of that defense this morning im not speaking to Sanchez , they have got to be pissed because the offense blew there playoff hopes and they have been ruining games all season long and it's gotta make it hard for the defense knowing its always all on there shoulders

The D played fine. The problem is our expectations of our D.

We're not used to seeing one, but in the NFL defenses usually give up a touchdown or two when facing a professional offense. And when your defense doesn't have to worry about the fact that giving up 10 points will guarantee a loss, they actually play BETTER.

Oh, and Chris Johnson is good.

The defense needs to hold opposing teams to under 14 points AND put points on the board to get a win, I mean they're good, but they're not that good. I agree it's a shame this defense is wasted on the ineptitude of Sanchez and Sparano.

The D played well overall but they don't go blameless. You can't gice up a 90+ yd TD run then after we finally take the lead back allow Ten to score a TD in a few mins to take it back.

We were only down 4 points. We had around 15 minutes left. Enough time to get two fucking field goals.

absolutely, we should have been able to score but the D knows our O sucks and they needed to at least hold Ten to a FG but they allowed them to score a TD 3 mins after we finally scored which took away all the momentum we had.

Are you sure it wasn't any one of the four interceptions he had? That has a big hand in taking away momentum.

w/ the score 3-0 Jets we pinned Ten inside their 10 yd line. 2nd and 9 at the Ten 6, Chris Johnson goes 94 yds.

after we score TD to take 10-7 lead Ten takes over and in 3 mins scores a TD to take the lead.

Neither score was b/c of a TO.

last year a 99 yd pass ended our season and this year it was a 94 yd run.

I'm shocked none of those guys have blown up on Sanchez yet. If you had a NFL level QB this team would get to 10 wins. The D gets screwed every week by Sanchez and the offense.
