I was feeling nervous, then I wanted to break shit, and now I'm calm. Waiting. Went through the same shit last week.
It does feel like Christmas Eve, but tomorrow we're going to tell the Black & Gold swarm that they've been naughty this year. Pittsburgh delenda est.
Too funny! My buddy and I were just saying this. So much nervous excitement and anticipation. He called it "Jets Eve". Let's hope we get the best present ever.
Being that this has been pretty much the same for the past three weeks, I would liken this more to Channukah. Now, February 5th on the other hand...
Good assessment. I am so excited I bought myself 2 new hats today...a new Jets and Mets. I could not sleep before the Pats game and cannot tonight likely. I'm getting up early to listen to chubs lay groundwork and backpedaling..and I'm watching NFL network all night... I just played a madden franchise season and guess who we faced in the AFCC?? The Steelers and we won... Guess who we faced in the Superbowl??? The Packers and in both games LT was a monster. I feel like a kid.
No way I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. I was excited last year and I thought we had a shot to beat Indy. I know Pittsburgh will be tough, but I am expecting the Jets to win tomorrow.
This is the most amped I have been since I spent money I did not have to go to Game 7 NLCS at Shea in 2006. That was a heartbreak...this will be my reward.. Side anecdote for anyone who attended.. 5 mins after the NLCS game ended after sitting there is misery and disbelief a solitary voice emerged from the lower loge... And it was this.. "All right...Lets go Jets...J-E-T-S! and it helped me forget the pain and get ready "
Last Saturday night I had a disturbing dream in which i attended Tom Brady's funeral (I guess I hate him that much). That turned out well, so I hope that tonight I will have a similar dream but with Ben
I never drink beer for Jet games. Tomorrow I break that stretch, in an attempt to break another 41 year streak.
My question is; Who will my JETS face in the SUPERBOWL? We owe both GreenBay & Chicago a lil' payback! Pitt who?
