I don't know if anyone else noticed, but his body language looked like he didn't even want to be outside last night. Everything he did was just off. His passes floated, or were under thrown, and his arm looked weaker than I've ever seen it. I heard him on Michael Kay right before thanksgiving and he talked about how he was trying to convince himself that he likes playing in the cold. He actually made a joke about it. He is from Mission Viejo, and I can see how it would be hard to get used to days like last night, but JESUS...playing in NY, he's got to get used to it. Guys like brady don't miss a beat when the weather gets bad, and I'd love to see sanchez get there too... I don't say this just because of last night. He hasn't played as well as the weather's gotten worse this year, and he seemed to play really badly last year in cold weather save the cincy playoff game. The Falcons game comes to mind at the end of the season. Is it possible that the cold really effects this guy that badly? Does anyone else feel that way, or am I way off base here?
Brady is from California also and seems to be at his best in frigid weather. Not sure about Sanchez. I don't think it's about arm strength as much as knowing what he can and can't do with the wind.
He looked dazed and confused after he took the hit to the chin. I think that was more of a factor than the weather.
Can you imagine if did that to an opposing QB? there would have been so many flags flying we wouldn't have known if the field was green or yellow.
Use your brain if he did well in the frigid cold last year. One fucking game and all of the sudden he can't play in the cold? Use your brain.
As a Sanchez fan, last night was painful to watch. The more the blunders came, the more I wanted him to just get it all out, just get it all out, right now, this game Sanchez. Last night must have been very painful for you guys as Jet fans. These weren't the real Jets last night, I could tell from the very beginning that something was off.
Just pointing this out. This is Sanchez's second season, where QBs usually struggle a little. Look at Matt Ryan's season last year and Joe Flacco's. The fact that they are 9-3 and besides a couple of games Sanchez has played pretty well is a good sign.
What did brady do so great last night? 90% of his throws were 3 or 4 yard throws. they just run a better offense. the winds were 25MPH, no QB was gonna get the ball down the field
We have an eighty degree and sunny Qb and that is that. This kid will not be able to go toe to toe with Brady, Flaco, Manning or Big Ben come Jan now or ever.
Is there a QB who performs BETTER in the cold than in the warm? I know guys like Brady and Rodgers are just as good but is anybody really better in the cold?
