He drops game-tying touchdowns in the endzone! He's a Jet alright! Maybe the most accurate definition of a Jet.

McCareins is probally the worst reciever in football (lol well maybe not) but with coles and cotch just think of how good our reciving core could be with a decent 3rd string reciever , what happened to u j-mac ?

I love how we gave up a 2nd rounder for this stiff. Great trade, that was.

I could find UDFAs more worthy of a roster spot than this guy.

Funny too see everyone hating on this guy now. A fair amount of people wanted to keep him after his great TC. I guess in some ways it's good that we kept him since Stuckey went down with an injury. I don't doubt that the FO tried to move him this off season, but there were no takers.

he was pretty decent for the titans in 02. then we got him. for some reason he has always looked awkward with us.

And pre-season games. Didnt he make that nice catch and run for a TD off a Clemens pass in pre-season?

Unfortunately, i think his drop in the Ravens game was an early turning point in the season.

 I remember him being the league leader in YPC when he was in Tennessee... OBVIOUSLY that kind of one-dimensional weapon is ill-suited to be a contributor on this team....

He's worth more than a 7th rounder despite the drops. Why would the team look to trade him at this point of the season?

Why? The guy hasn't done shit this season. In fact, he's had a negative impact on this season. Why would anyone give up anything better then a 7th rounder for a guy with 3 catches on a 1-5 team?
