I tend to get ahead of myself, but who should I be rooting for today to help the Jets get into the playoffs? Besides the obvious Eagles over Bills, how about Tennessee @ Pitt, and Oak @ HOU? My gut tells me to root for Tennessee, because Pitt will pull together some wins sooner than later. And since Oakland beat us, root for Houston to beat them and ultimately take the AFC South.
Far too early. I would hope the Jets don't share your mentality. I would try to just enjoy the game today and start worrying about other teams in another 8 weeks or 10 weeks.

never too early to starting rooting imo. If Ravens win the North, we need the steelers to lose so I'm rooting for tennessee. And houston will win the south so they present no wildcard competition, but the raiders will if the chargers win the division so I am rooting for houston. rooting for the eagles is a given.
