Right now, I'm still pissed about last night's loss. Really pissed. That shit was unacceptable. BUT, this seems a little different than the standard "Jets lost another embarassing big time game". Normally, you can sit there the next day and say "Oh, so-and-so needs to go!" Edwards, Mangini, Pennington, Elam, etc, we've had our share of scapegoats. While we all know that the defense played like total ass last night, there isn't anything wrong with this team, they just didn't show up. Nobody needs to go, they didn't expose some glaring awful problem with our defense (beyond that we have zero useful depth at CB), for the most part, it was just that our guys didn't show up to play last night. We know this defense can be really good, we saw it against New Orleans despite the loss. So, I guess during our hangovers at least we can say that the team doesn't need much more beyond a giant asskicking this week in practice. Things could be worse.
We will always be the same ol Jets until we win the Superbowl until then that name will forever be connected with this franchise
i agree that the performance was very same ole jets, but my point was that we're used to something being wrong. We actually have a legitimately very good team, they just decided not to play last night.
Disagree!! Try and be positive for a change, I'm sick of it. I can see it now, 1 bad play next week the fickle SOJ fans will start with the boos and SOJ chants. This attitude has to go.

i disagree, if we had came to play and still lost, then a loss is a loss and you live with it. I just get disgusted at how the defense didn't even bother showing up. They looked gassed on the first play!
So the Defense has to be perfect all year?? They're allowed to be human, just like we said last week about mark getting that game out of his system early. The defense will comeback harder then ever. NO SOJ SHIT!!!
Look i'm not a darksider or anything like that, and i'm a very positive Jet Fan and I think our day is coming, but damn that was such horrible preparation by the CS no excuse to let us get run on like that no excuse at all, if we can't win games like this where were on the road going against a team with everything to lose then what makes you think change is going to come, we looked like pussies out there and we looked nothing like a team that is going for change, we looked like the same damn team last season fucking up against the Seahawks or whoever, Jets continue to run there mouths like Kerry Rhodes/Bart Scott and fail to deliver, we just need to be smarter with the football and hopefully all this trash talking ends for good and we go out there and play like professionals, we got punched in the face last night and couldn't recover, the only good thing that came out of last night was the Sanchez Edwards connection and with all those calls, you gotta think we should of been in a worse situation, that gay ass SOJ shit is gonna stick with a a lot of people till we get that fucking Lombardi trophy, I mean I hate that SOJ talk also, I just wish we were smarter with our preparations for this game
