    My son just purchased a home in the Oakland Hills section of Oakland, CA. At the request of my wife, he sent a number of pictures of the place. One shot was of a metal gate leading to the property with the initials RC. We asked him what RC meant and he replied he didn't know because it was not the initials of the people he bought the home from. A few hours later, after asking around, he tells us the RC stands for Raymond Chester, former TE of the Raiders who was the original owner.

    That's a blast from the past. He was one of the better tight ends of the 1970s.
