We are the first team in NFL history to ever win on the road when the opponent(Bills in this case) had a 150 yd rusher(McGahee) and a 300 yd passer(Losman).

Just heard it during the SNF game.

    Quite an awesome feat.

Yah, the stat stinks of turn-overs. Good game. Mangini rocks.

It's still only The Bills, but hell we're not worse than we were in the Hermie era, and we're in a new system. That's impressive.

    300 yd passer, not 350.

Yup... they held McGahee down pretty well in the second half though... that speaks to halftime adjustments by sutton and mangini. This also means an adjustment for me, as I had forgotten what half time adjustments were, under our old regime.
This is a good road win...No matter how bad the Bills ever are, that is a TOUGH place to play. I have seen the Jets there twice, and it is really like going to a college game, like at Ohio State...Great fans, who know how to watch a game...

The score held Willis down in the 2nd half.

How bad could the Bills be if they put up 450 yds against your defense while holding your offense to 270 total yds.. the result was a win for the Jets but I don't think Mangini is going to give the players an extra day off from practice after that performance.

Bad enough to be 1-2...and to lose your home opener to a team thats rebuilding.

I do agree that there will be no days off following that poor defensive performance....but if we shut you out...there would be no days off either.

This is the new nyj's my friend.

So everyone can keep throwing their barbs at us.

We are 2-1 and pretty happy tonite.

That's not exactly true. While I'm not a fan of the old regime, in 2004, the Jet defense held six teams scoreless in the 2nd half under Henderson. I think that speaks to 2nd half adjustments.
