    Along side, learning from Jenkins.

Can he be a late round draft pick, what's his projection? Not saying we should take a NT with our #1, because we shouldn't, but just an idea to look at.

    No.

With so many teams switching to the 3-4, Cody will probably go in the 1st round, and so will Tennessee NT Dan Williams.

If Cody or Williams fall to pick 29, then either of the two will more than likely be the BPA.

I just read that Mount Cody weighed in at 370 pounds at the Senior Bowl. If he wants to be a mid-first rounder, he'll need to shed at least 15 pounds before the combine. Cody's battled weight issues his entire career, but he's really worked hard to stay in good enough shape to do his job.

I like this kid, but I want to see him at the combine as well. I specifically want to see him do some drills and bench. Before I get ripped for mentioning the bench press, I have a reason for it. I want to see if this kid has any interest in fitness.and if he has decent work habits. If he can get 20-25 reps, I'd be impressed.
I listened to Rex's full press conf.(Sny had it) and he said something interesting about Jenkins. He said what makes Jenk special isn't his size, but the way he can move at that size. Balt. drafted Ngata for the same reason. ( Reminds me thatBuddy Ryan hated the Fridge because he thought he was just a big slob). Makes me think he wants a big but active DT if he takes one.

I don't think any player in the draft this year has a better chance to make/lose money than Terrence Cody. It's entirely his decision.

If this man works his ass off and hits the combine at 350 lbs., he'll be a top ten pick. If he balloons up to 390, I think he falls out of the first round.

You're right about there being so many new 3-4 teams, but because there's good depth at 3-4 end in this draft, teams won't be handcuffed into drafting a nose to kick start the transition.

What's scary is when a College player has issues with weight....it usually doesn't get better when they become a NFL player.

Being overweight, especially at NT, fatigue is a huge issue, not to mention the strain on the player's back and knees.

It's all up to MT Cody.

Apparently fatigue was a huge issue for Cody yesterday.

I don't want to go NT until later, but I'd rather have Dan Williams.

    ESPN story from the 5th.

Fat boy gained 10-15 pounds getting ready for the SB.

Dude is a huge risk. Who's to say the kid won't balloon back up to 400 once he gets paid?

Thanks...he still needs to get down to the 350 range to be a higher draft pick.

Ideally, if he could stay around 350ish, then the kid could be a monster.

But a kid trying like Hell to lose weight and then gains most of it back a few weeks later? There is no doubt in my mind that this kid will eat his way out of the league in a few years.

Hard to lose weight in the NFL.

Getting older people generally tend to gain weight. Having a bunch of money doesn't help the weak person, when it comes to your diet.

If he gets drafted to the right team and works with trainers and strenght and conditioning personnel...he may get to where he needs to be, to be productive. The Combine is around the corner....I hope he's working out with the right people.

Again, it's in your court Cody.

Only if he is availaible in the second, which i doubt. However, if anyone can get through a player its Rex Ryan
