If you could have one player back that we lost to Free Agency or via Trade who would it be and why?

I always liked Nick Ferguson. He's made a nice career for himself in Denver but I always will remember the game he had against the Colts in 2000. I always thought he could fill Victor Green's shoes, but it never happened for him here.

Right now...definitely Randy Thomas. He's a premium guard in this league.

I dunno, James Farrior turned into a pretty good 3-4 player.

Santana Moss was always one of my favorites and had Coles not left to DC the 1st place, both would be here. Cotchery has eased the pain though.

If I had to pick one player lost to free agency at the moment he was lost I'd have to say Randy Thomas. The Jets had something special going after the 2002 season and they never fully got it back before they collapsed in 2005.

If I had to pick on player overall it would definitely be Kareem McKenzie. He's still in his prime and the Jets could use a big RT who can dominate on the line right now.

Aaron Glenn. He was easily one of my favorite Jets and I was devastated when we let him walk to Houston. I guess you can say it worked out for the best, but then again, we don't have a ring yet... so I don't know if it was worth it. Based on the corners we've seen in recent years... I will vote no.

Yeah, imma have to jump in with those who said Randy Thomas. Although Jason Ferguson was a decent player for us...I sort of enjoyed Mondays with Fergy back in the day.

barring the getting the retired c-mart back in his prime, i have to say having randy thomas, or Aaron Glenn, would be great right now. We could have Glenn Dsyon Barrett Revis and Miller or we could have Brick Thomas Mangold Moore Clement

two groups that would be instantly upgraded... with the addition of one of these guys in their primes... but IMO my pick would be on Glenn he was one of my all time favortie jets, 3rd behind Curtis and Wayne

Well, if you're talking about the present and present day ability, Aaron Glenn is out cause he's like 35 or something.

I have to say either Mckenzie or Thomas though, our o line doesn't look too good right now.

Randy Thomas is the obvious answer here but I'll go a different route and Say A. Becht. Say what you want about his receiving skills but boy was he one hell of a blocker. I have no doubt that if he was still on this team Schot. is a good enough game planner where he would be able to utilize both Becht and Baker.
