If the LB coaching spot is still vacant, how about this guy?

    The guy I am talking about is, Lou Tepper.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Tepper

    Sure, he has no experience coaching NFL - but he DID produce a lot of HoF quality LBs throughout his career as a coach [i.e. Kevin Hardy] and it seems to me that he is a very, VERY good fundamental type of a guy - the kind of people Jets need, to nurture the talent at LB position. He seems to know his stuff inside and out, with fundamentals all attached - that includes all the nuances for both OLBs and ILBs.

    I must say, I come highly impressed with his book:

    ================================================

    Summary for the impatient [I will spare you the details.]

    1. This guy has track record of producing outstanding LBs.
    2. Very sound at fundamental level
    3. DOES NOT SUCK LIKE THE PORNSTACHE NAMED BVG.

    What do you guys think?

    P.S. If this guy does work like I think he will, then you won't need to talk about the Orakpoes and Worildses in the world - Jets should be able to churn them out year in and year out on annual basis.

    Don't even bother to respond - I was a bit slow on the news.

    Jets promoted from internally - they have Jeff Weeks and Bobby April III for the LB coaching job. [Who the fuck are they anyway? Bobby April III was a defense QUALITY CONTROL guy. Holy fuck.]

    Basically these guys are the nurses to the doctors of the staff. They do the dirty work, charting out guys on the opposing teams defense and scouting reports etc. They look over a ton of film. It's possible they loved how April prepared to give him a more detailed oriented job on the Jets. I'm not sure what Weeks job was before getting this.

    Another defensive assistant. Jeff Weeks went to play college balls with Rex. He's Ryan's buddy-buddy in short - no track record, no shit.

    Every great coach worked hard and got their break somewhere along the line. I won't put someone down simply because they finally got their big break.

    Only time will tell....
