the only way the jets draft D'Brick is if they dont sign Runyan " wicht they will" but if they dont. D'Brick will be their RT cause i read in someones thread today that he weighed 306 and that is ok for a RT. But if he gets heavier he could be are RT. the OL would be Jones,Kendall,Mangold,Moore,D'Brick. But if we sign runyan it would be Jones,Kendall,Mangold,Moore,Runyan.
That's exactly right! No RT is going to be drafted in the top ten of the draft. If we draft D'Brick, we are basucally giving up on AJ. I thought Jones improved at LT and putting him at RT was a mistake. We need a "road grader" at RT, Runyan may be a good option. The Jets aren't drafting D-Brick.........Mario Williams or AJ Hawk will be our #4 pick if we stay put at 4, unless Leinart falls to us at 4, which is highly unlikely.
what if we trade down several spots and take Vernon Davis - which helps the OL and the passing game - and then at 29 choose the BPA at OL... i think that's the best way to improve the OL and boost up the Offense in two picks. cheers
Ferguson has played LT in college for 3 years. He is a natural LT. His long arms and tremendous reach make him a better pass protector than a run blocker. He's fluid and can follow and mimick a DL's moves, and it not explosive...so he's more suited to LT.
