if leinart falls to four and mario williams is off the board.then you can be sure that the jets will trade down for the best offer.I do not think that the jets are interested in leinart.extra picks like the ones that minn.has to offer would satisfy the jets.if that does happen ,you can be sure that a lot of jet fans will be jumping for joy.
If Leinart falls to 4, and Mario Williams IS ON THE BOARD, they'll take Leinart. There is no way if Leinart slips to 4 they aren't taking him.
unless Leinart breaks his arm or chops off a leg before Draft day there is no way he is falling to #4.
Its not so far fetched that Tenn takes Young at 4. I still think when it comes down to it they'll take Leinart but I would not be shocked one bit if they did take Young.. As for the point of this thread, if Leinart is on the board at 4 it will be the easiest decision in the world for our FO.
Tennessee is connected to both qbs McNair to Young and Norm Chow to Leinart but at the end of the day i tihnk chow has more of an input and they will take leinart i would love to get v young! i dont care how he does on the wonderlic remember right after the rose bowl when there was talk of him going at 1 overall over reggie bush?? and now its "how far will vince fall??"
I guess we are in the smokescreen portion of the draft. Dont believe everything you read at this point anything can happen.
I dont believe any of the Tenn- V Young talk, i think they want Leinart. Chow would rather have Leinart since he already has a connection, and his connection to Leinart means more to their franchise than does McNair to young
you know why i love the draft... cause right now your theory makes alot of sense. but come draft day watch something crazy happen.
Jets | Team may not look to trade up Tue, 4 Apr 2006 20:37:37 -0700 ESPN.com's John Clayton reports early word is that the New York Jets won't trade up to get USC QB Matt Leinart, and it's not out of the question for them to draft Virginia OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson over Leinart, if both are still on the board.
