    You have to remember that Belichik always has a coffee-getter as his DC, including Romeo Crennel.

    Parcells and Belichik really went at each other in a big way in the years they worked together and I'm thinking Belichik is tired of the arguments and wants a pliable guy who will yessir his schemes and implement them.

    No reason Mangini would hire a strong DC when he has seen Belichik's system work.

    Note BTW, that neither Crennel nor Mangini has put together a good 3-4 independent of Belichik to date.
