I think Super Mario DE and D. Williams RB are probably going to be the best players on the board when the jets draft at 4 and 29. I knw ppl are sayin dat Deanglo will not fall that far because of his new 40 times. But there are alot of teams that have their RB position filled already. I could see him also slippin because of previous injuries and character issues, which I dont think will be a problem. I would be real excited if our first two picks were these two guys, we get a stud at RB and DE for a very long time. OL is an important position but you dont want to draft OL that high, especially with such a deep draft at that position we can fill our OL needs in the second round and on.

I don't think DeAngelo has character issues. Praised as a team player with top intangibles. I wouldn't put much stock into him sitting out the Tennessee game.

Anyway, I don't think DeAngelo comes close to falling past #20, let alone falling to #29.

    I agree with super mario.

But if they go RB which i doubt it has to be laurence maroney. He is going to be big in the NFL.

If we are on the board at 29 and we are choosing between Mangold and Deangelo, we gotta take Mangold and hope a decent RB is there at 35.

Where did you get the idea in your head Deangelo has character issues??????? Link Please!!!! Deangelo is a great kid from a good family and teammates and coaches....... College & H.S. love the kid. He did grow up in a very bad area in Arkansas, drugs & gangs, but he didn't get into trouble and his family moved to a rural area of Arkansas before he attended H.S.

Trust me, Deangelo is a great kid, reminds me of a young Curtis Martin. Williams has had a few injuries, but he has played thru most of them, and done very well.

If he starts falling that much, I imagine that the Patriots would scoop him up at #21, with his multitude of talents (catching the ball, putting his shoulder down, open field quickness), he's exactly the type of RB that the Pats would want. But if by some miracle he is there at #29, then he's the top option no matter who else is on the board.

I hope you're kidding, if they took a center over a top RB that would be HORRIBLE.

I dont think either guy will be their at those picks, Mario will probs go 2nd and deangello will go somewhere between 14-22...and with 35 your probs not getting mangold either. Although I would like to have the guys your saying. A more realistic draft would be Ferguson with 4...and maybe maroney at 29 if he is event there

I think that you are thinking of Lendale White who many say is immature and has weight problems. Deangelo is going high in this draft. The only real knock on him is that he had a lot of carries in college.

I dont understand why ppl keep sayin dat the Saints will draft Mario they have a bunch of young talent on there DL already they have Will Smith and Darren Howard and Grant Charles. Two young guys who are making good money and a vet. I just dont see them drafting another End with the ones they have already, doesnt make much sense.
