If all this shit with Favre is true, then there is something very troubling about the timeline of this. I'm really hoping that the organization didn't know about this and cover it up. Something about all this just doesn't smell right to me. Anyone else get that feeling?

Its been reported that Sterger has only recently come forward with this information because she was able to cover all of the evidence. The Jets won't be implicated in anything.

Actually this was reported as far back as March or April. It wasn't made into a big deal cause Sterger had no intentions of releasing the pics, emails, or vms. Then another "TMZ type" reported pushed her for the info in a later article - sometime over the summer. That's when it started coming out. But the crux de gras was the actual release of the report. Thsi is actually old news but people who don't follow football probably didn't see it coming. Personally, I don't give a shit. This is a bunch of TMZ bullshit and there is no news - its gossip. On the other hand, I wish Sterger would email be some lewd pics of herself.
It seemed odd to me that Favre would a) want to land a B rate beauty and b) that he would send texts and leave online messages - I mean, that just seems like something a twenty year old would do, not a forty year old. BUT, then I saw Jenn's resemblance ot a young Deanna Favre. It's pretty uncanny. I can't believe we would cover this up then let it get out two years later, just in time for a game against Brett. To me its more likely that the media has been aware of it since August, like we have, but has waited until now to get into it when it can draw more readers. I personally don't believe Favre did it, it just doesn't sound like him on the tapes, to me, but I DEFINITELY don't think the JEts had anything to do with it. To be fair, I also don't believe the PAts traded Moss to the Vikes so the Vikes could beat us.

Right, she still wasn't running around making sure everyone knew about it. It's something that slowly got out. There is no reason to think the Jets covered anything up here. This just took a long time to become common knowledge to people.
