I have this bad feeling in my stomach this is what is going to happen. Shotty sr as HC and jr stays on as OC. The jets will have 3 years of mediocrity zero playoff wins and then Woody will be in the market for a new coach again.

marty as head coach and son as OC generated a 14-2 record last time they were together. say what you want about his playoff record but that chargers loss to pats wasn't marty's fault IMO.

His curse in the playoff record will be broken if he becomes the HC of JETS!

I'll take my chances with both Schottenheimer's thank you very much. The guy wins, his teams may not win in the playoffs but right now I just want to get in the playoffs. The Jets can't take another chance on some hot coordinator hoping to hit paydirt. This team was built to win now, not 3 years from now.

    I agree. I don't love it, but i don't hate it.
I'd personally go Cowher, Shanahan, Marty, in that order.

I predict the Jets will win 13 games in a season, for the first time in franchise history, sometime in the next 3 years if this happens. We'll probably scream at the early playoff exits but we'll also get over the "Jets can't be a dominating team in the regular season because they always fold to screw things up at the end" curse.

Can we all just agree that no matter who the coach is, we'll at least wait until after next season to judge him?:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2: Sometimes i even crack myself up!

I will take my chances. Big regular seasons mean division titles home playoff games.
