Looks like he is coming back home after the elections no matter who wins. Now that Biden seems to have won it we can all assume Woody will be back and be the main decision maker for the Coaching selection, FA and Draft.

How do you think this will impact things?

You see any improvement in decision making or no?

I don't know my friend. In the end, he lived overseas for over 3 years. He saw how all the successful Premier Leagues operated. Probably staying away from all the daily things gave him a break from his old habits. Change is inevtiable in a human's life if they are living in overseas for over 3 years. I am really hoping for the best.

Jets have a ton of cap room, a top 2 pick most likely a new coach. If Woody has changed for the better, we can have some hope for future.

I know I am trying hard to be optimistic but that's all I got at this point :(

Lets all hope the first phone call Woody makes is to Steve Cohen and says. "Make me an offer"...

He will be Steve Cohen with less money. The 2000-2010 era will be back, except better.

Even if the Jets don’t allow Joe Douglas to select his own coach with a hands off approach, I do foresee them relying heavily on his input.

Despite fan and media reaction to a bad start, Joe Douglas has excellent credibility in NFL circles, and it will be hard to argue with his experience and savvy if you are the Jets ownership.

Douglas has proven to me why he is well respected so far, and I’m not exclusively referring to drafting etc but in the way he has done business. Could you ever imagine Douglas going hard after Bell, or Trumaine Johnson, or Mosley, or Barr? I don’t, and I also get the feeling he would get a second GM chance if it didn’t work out with the Jets. That’s rare, but it also means he won’t make desperation moves.

I think Joe Douglas will have a heavy hand in redesigning the culture of the franchise. I think the most likely scenario is the Jets will get 1 overall, they will take Lawrence.

Hopefully he starts by getting us a new coach (Harbaugh) to replace Gase.

we would be much better of if fans talked steve cohen into buying the jets with his leftover petty cash from after buying the mets.

he cleaned house on day one, after only a couple of hours

too many football people imitate the hoodie and just avoid the jets entirely, due to the current owners :(

My hope is that Woody learned he’s a fucking wanker cunt. And his brother is worse.

And now, because of his need to fix his wankerness, he hires a VP of football ops. Someone like Jay Payton. Deal is for 100 million for 6 years. Let him control it all.

    evaluate after 6 years

if it works, the Jets franchise valuation goes up by possibly half billion and his ROI is legit and maybe the twat brothers sell!!!

    done

Does he learn through self-reflection, or is it part of the exit interview?

"We just need your signature here and here, and... initial here. Smashing. Right, then. A car will take you to Heathrow straightaway, Mr. Johnson. You're a fucking wanker cunt, by the way. Cheers."

Since we are nearing rock bottom my wild guess is that Woody might be slightly better than Chris, especially since his money is on the line.
