They didn't show my Jets here. Had to watch the broncos. All I got was the pats looks as good as advertised after only one highlight.

    Anyway,
    How well did rookies play?

    Thanks.

From what i saw in the second half, Revis played well. Even when he was beat by Randy Moss on that one play, he still covered him well, Moss just made a freakish catch

It was hard for Revis to stink it up when Brady is throwing at Barrett and Miller all the time. So, care to explain how he sucked?

He looked OK but I wish he had been stuckonto Moss all day because all the other Cbs were shit.

Maybe pay attention during the games a little more, Revis was one of the bright spots today. Maybe you got him confused with Barrett or Miller?

From what I saw, Revis did well. I only saw him a few times, which means he wasn't thrown at a whole lot. The only catch against I saw him make was that Moss catch at the end of the game.

Revis was fine. The other DBs looked like total crap, but at least some of that has to be blamed on the COMPLETE lack of a pass rush.

I thought Revis played really well. Showed he was a solid tackler and he was rarely thrown at.

Revis gave up one meaningful reception to Moss. Other than that he covered his guys. They didn't really throw his way much though, because they were busy picking on Barrett and Miller all day. Maybe that's also a credit to Revis.

    As noted Bender was inactive.

gotta give revis a bit of a pass here - 1st game, brady/moss, no pass rush.....

though can't spread that around the entire secondary which is only as good as your pass rush.....

and folks - the jets have no fukin pass rush

Not to nit pick, but when you watch the highlights, Revis was actually at fault on the Moss 51 yd TD pass. He did not get a hand on Moss coming off the line. Moss got off the line untouched.

Revis was actually not too bad today. They did not throw his way much from what I saw.

Every big play was toward David Barret, except the score by Watson, who was covered by Vilma.

I really don't think anybody in the secondary was bad at all. Brady had about 5seconds to find a open receiver every time he threw. And on many of the plays(before I cut the game off after Clemens went three and out) Brady actually was either throwing to a 4th/5th option or it was a busted play the and wide out found a open spot.

Our pressure up front is terrible and our blitz was no where near Brady.... you can't sugar coat it any other way.

what game were you watching....he did a pretty good job covering stallworth most of the game, and I think Moss only had one reception on him ( which was still good coverage but Moss's height advantage got the best of him)

Revis looks like a sound tackler..good in coverage, but still has much to work on...

Jets defense looked terrible as a result of no pass rush...nothing else

No coverage team could look good when the receivers had 20 seconds to get open.

The D-line was a big reason for the poor secondary play today.
