I was just thinking about this and it came to my head on how cool would it be for Jonathan Grimes to step up against the Patriots and show something. Think about how Murrey stepped up for the Cowboys last year or how CJ Spiller stepped up for the Bills or even Alfred Morris for the Redskins. I know they have different running styles and CJ was a 1st rounder and Murrey a 3rd but just thinking about what could happen makes me excited. Lets hope maybe we can find our starting RB off these injuries and we use Greene when we.know he's effective, in the later quarters.
The only comparable people are Foster and Morris really.. CJ Spiller was the 9th overall pick and Murray was a 3rd round pick. They were expected to step up. As for Grimes... Id say theres about a .1% chance he turns into a good NFL runningback.
BC the OP is asking an obvious question...Yes, it would be cool for Grimes to emerge as a top RB. Super cool.
