Have your feelings on the game changed as a result? If so, how much?

So you don't think this defense is capable of stopping the Pats O?

Still very confident. Our offense should be able to tear that defense a new hole and we still have a solid defense even without Leonhard.

before the injury, 90%. After, i'll say about 70%. I feel that the PATS secondary is far worst and if we can get at them and score TDs, we should be fine. Cro and Revis will hold their own.

I think it's worth seven points more to them. Before I thought they could only put up 17 on us, now I'll give them 24.

Mark and co. are gonna have to put up a 30 spot either way, which I think they're capable of, so it's concerning but not devastating.

Nothing new, the middle of the field just opened up a bit more should still be a good game until the Pats bust it open in the early 3rd:grin:

Others will step and up their own game. Its a big game that just got a wee bit bigger.
My guess is that Dig gets a start.

I'm even more confident. We saw this team when Revis went down.

I think we are kicking New Englands ass anyway, it will be apparent by the fourth quarter.

If I'm not mistaken Eric Smith has already been named the starter along with Brodney Pool.

I wonder what this poll would look like in week 2 if it was announced that Revis would be out the second half vs. the Patsies.

I was pretty confident before the injury but now my confidence has went up slightly. It may sound crazy but i just feel every defensive injury we have suffered under Rex others have stepped in and stepped up. I just think they find a way to step up

Not a crazy idea at all. Look what happened when Revis got hurt. IMO the D stepped up a gear.

As the season goes on, teams are more set when December rolls around. NE's defense is not great, so I think our Offense will step it up a notch.

With the loss of Leonard, our defense loses a leader...with that said, we should have someone else on D that's eager to be a leader...

I'm confident it's only a hiccup, but Rex has until Monday night to work out a new plan.

well u know if we do win we will be making SB plans and this board will go bananas.....but we know there is an egg in the future so wouldn't it be fitting to beat the pats on the road and put up a stinker against the fish at home......

that would be enough to put me over the edge.

BTW - i am at 50/50 for this game - if the pats win they will win big, if its a nail biter for some reason i like the jets chances - despite folk.

Question I should know the answer to but I don't:

Is there any rules against a player on IR being on the sidelines at games? Not saying Leonard is gonna do it this week but couldn't he basically be holding a clipboard with DT and coaching up the secondary on gameday?
