I believe he's asking for his release. He like Rex Ryan, and would add very good depth at corner as well as competition for the #2 spot. At the right price, and if he's interested, why not?

Another name, another thread. This one at least is somewhat reasonable unlike the Jason Taylor nonsense.

Rolle isn't coming here because he'll want to start and he won't start over Revis or Lito. So no. We won't be buttering his rolle anytime soon.

Hey, Peyton Manning's deal ends in a few years, can start putting some pieces together to get him?

He wont add depth cause he only wants to go somewhere he can start.

He wasn't starting with Rex's defense in Baltimore, why would he start here?

Why is it everybody wants every CB in the league? Do you really think Ryan is going to play Mangini's defense and just drop everybody back 15 yards and pray? Please get serious. We have all the starting CBs we need.

I feel like people want any player off the 2008 Raven's team. But yeah, I agree 100%. We have Revis, Sheppard, and Lowery. We are set at CB. Now we need to focus on OLB opposite of Pace and DE/NT depth

yeah we'll see how Lito does as the number two, and lowery is far from a great starting CB to be his replacement when Lito goes down injured.

It's not a terrible idea for depth concerns . . . but he's old and a bit overrated. If they could get him on an exceedingly cheap contract, then sure. But realize it would be a rent-a-CB situation for one season, and so if he gets injured (old players on their way out the door tend to do this from time to time), the signing becomes a waste. I say pass.

(I also have never thought his reputation as an elite corner was always justified)

Not to mention the fact that he only wants to be a starter.

Hell yeah man, though I think DE/NT depth should be the main priority, especially with CJ about to bounce out, Jenkins also needs to catch a breather from time to time without having to worry about the defense crumpling into dust. Scott filled a big hole in our LB core, Pace, Scott, and Harris should be fine, and hopefully Thomas decides to step up his game a little, but with out some depth in the front line our LB wont be able to do shit like last season
