Relive that wonderfull evening here >>>> http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d8045025e No team has run over 100 yards against the Steelers in 35 games , and we do??? Whats going on? Kevin Clemens sits in the pocket and has time to throw??? Whats going on??? The D gets racks up 7 sacks when we've only had 9 all season??? What IS going on? Its just one game , but looking at the game again its obvious that teams now have to respect the downfield threat from KC and this is opening up lanes for the run. I saw alot of different receivers making good grabs, Baker looked SUPERB! Is David Harris for real , would we have been better WITH or WITHOUT Vilma next to him there? There are just so many pluses from this game. But lets not get carried away.
Harris was making plays...Barton was making plays...I really just don't see a place for vilma in our defense.
Not to take anything away from Harris, but Maybe if the Jets did all the scheming with Vilma out there he may have been more productive.
Vilma and harris both played in the old system and Harris was more productive then vilma then... So y would we assume that Vilma would out play Harris in the new system?...
Is anyone still doing the full game downloads? im desperate to see the whole game if anyone knows where I can get it. Its not up on Ten Yard Torrents at the moment.
Tackles wise, he was.... But we gave up 296 yards on the ground to the Redskins with Harris in there.... I like him, but he's not worlds better than is Vilma... He's a better fit for the 3-4, but Harris' presence didn't suddenly make our D formidable.
yeah its official i'll never understand english humor. i can watch monty python for hours and only smile when its over. oh well at least we're all jet fans
Big and blitzing. That's what did it. The Steelers offensive line is one of the best in football and they absolutely crumbled under the pressure. D-Rob, with all that beef on the line with him, made Faneca look bad on a half dozen plays. Ellis caused the kind of pressure from LOLB that makes TE's and RT's cry. I don't know if they can keep it up but I have no clue what a team does to block Ellis when he's rushing from the outside. He's just going to run over the TE and the FB as he did twice yesterday and Pouha and DeVito would not let Willie Colon, the Steeler's RT, get outside to block him.
I love our US cousins with all my heart. Our English sense of humour must appear pretty strange. Pyhton Python Python
Actually, even John Cleese admits that much of Python was absolute dross, but there are plenty of brilliant bits as well. I think the movies are way better than the TV show for consistency. Much of English humour is based on the absurd. The poster I referred to had corrected Gus for accidentally getting the Jets QB's name wrong, but he'd made a couple of minor grammatical errors. My post corrected those errors, resulting in a post that was awkwardly written and pedantic. It was also, of course, absurd to point out such minor errors. The result was a post that might bring a hint of a smile to a few faces. This concludes English Humor 101. Next week, people slipping on banana skins.
I don't know who it is , can't remember but someone else here calls him Kevin (on purpose), which I thought stupidly funny. I'm with stupid
