Here's my take on the Jets, 3 games in...

I'm reading a lot on here and people are saying fire LaFleur or fire Saleh. Aside from being the youngest team in the league, they are also the most inexperienced. My biggest issue is there is no veteran QB that can mentor Zach Wilson.

LaFleur hasn't shown me anything that says he knows what he's doing. In fact, with the sound off on the game this past weekend, I would've thought Adam Gase was still calling the offensive plays. Nothing shows me after 3 games that the coaching staff has a clue on what they're doing. Yes, the defense is playing okay, but the offensive line is a total mess. Yes, we have some injuries, but Van Roten needs to go. He can't stand up to the challenge even if his feet were cemented into the ground. He's horrible.

Many saying that Darnold should have never been traded, well, it's now evident that with offensive weapons and a good O-Line, you can be a good QB. It's not always the QB's fault, it's the coaching staff drawing up the plays and gameplan. Losing Greg Knapp was gutwrenching and replacing him with Matt Cavanaugh was a bad decision because he is useless IMO. Saleh and LeFleur have a lot of work ahead of them. I sure hope they can righten the ship and move forward.

It's becoming harder and harder to root for this team year in and year out by the way they're playing. The other rookie coaches have teams that are competitive like the Lions, Eagles, and Chargers but the Jets are, well they're still the SOJ. This team is cursed.
