Looks like Twat Noggin' realized he should have kept his trap shut. Thought about throwing this in the Draft folder, but it's more about Henne than anything. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/11724/henne-proclaims-tebow-not-an-nfl-qb Henne proclaims Tebow 'not an NFL QB' By Tim Graham There has been no shortage of belittling comments about Tim Tebow's future as an NFL quarterback. Previously, derision came exclusively from analysts, fans and journalists. On Wednesday, an NFL quarterback dismissed Tebow as his peer. Miami Dolphins starter Chad Henne spoke up during an interview with local sports-radio station WQAM. Hosts Curtis Stevenson and Anita Marks asked Henne what he thought of the University of Florida demigod. "My judgment is that he's not an NFL quarterback," Henne said, his words trailing off into a mumble as though he realized he shouldn't be uttering them. "So I'll leave it at that." What makes Henne's bold statement even more noteworthy is that Tebow's agent is Jimmy Sexton, who also represents Dolphins football operations boss Bill Parcells, head coach Tony Sparano and a few Dolphins players. Henne's quarterbacks coach, David Lee, worked with Tebow at the Senior Bowl. The Dolphins' staff coached the South team this year. Henne touched on a few other topics. Most notably, he spoke about the Dolphins' decision to re-sign veteran Chad Pennington as his backup and the widely held belief they need a receiver with big-play capabilities. On Pennington's return: "I always knew that they were going to bring in a veteran person. What greater veteran than Chad Pennington? I worked with him for two years now. He's always been a great mentor to me. I love having him back because I've learned so much from him. It's great to compete against him." On how frequently Dolfans mention the need for another receiver: "I hear it all the time, but you know what? Our wide receivers from last year, towards the end of the season, really improved. We threw for, in a couple games, over 300 yards. You know, we're very young. "Yeah, we need that veteran guy to come in here and teach those young guys, but I think we're only going to keep getting better with the young guys."
For a guy who plays on a team....that relies on a gimmick offense....should probably keep his piehole shut.
I think the jury is still out on if Henne is an NFL QB, he really shouldn't be opening his mouth about Tebow.
i hate henne in miami so much....as a huge michigan i am so torn. part of me wants him to do good in the nfl the other half hopes he doesnt make it. but as far as tebow goes. fuck him
Inviting Tebow to the NFL draft will make Tebow cry because he'll be sitting in the green room till Friday.
I can't knock the guy too much, there's a very good chance that after the draft, no matter where he goes, he'll be immediately richer than 99% of the people on here, including myself. It is funny to watch the marketing machine behind this guy though. As a side note, I thought this would be a good opportunity to repost this picture of Chad Henne's forehead just for laughs.
Maybe Henne should worry about himself instead of scouting college QB prospects. Actually, I'd prefer that he continues to critique college prospects while Sanchez is in the war room with Schotty.
The Folks in south Florida really like TT and he doesn't want the fins to draft him! So he makes this stupid statement creating controversy hoping his GM won't draft him thinking they don't like each other. Pretty convoluted I know but why else would he chime in on the topic with something that would make all the papers. It makes no sense.
I think its simpler than that. Someone asked him a question and he blurted out what he thought before he had a chance to think about it. I doubt it was anything premeditated. Probably just run-of-the-mill foot in the mouth.
LOL - the Dolphins fans love it. http://www.finheaven.com/forums/f2/merged-chad-henne-says-tebow-is-not-a-nfl-quarterback-272402.html Can you imagine the outrage we'd hear from them if Sanchez made such a statement?
lol @ dolfans. Dude, I want Henne to have the type of cockiness. It is what makes a guy like Brady or Manning so good. i'm pretty sure manning would be smart enough to avoid that shit test, brady can fuck off... but manning wouldn't be so disrespectful.
