I was wondering if anyone could give me the site where they have the NFL games on the internet. I think it starts with a P but dont remember it all. Any help would be great.
http://www.sopcast.org/ http://streamednfl.blogspot.com/ download the prog. use streamblog for the link. Also get VLC media player just in case.
I couldn't get the game on last week so I made the inevitable run to the sports bar (Ferg's in St. Pete if anyone in the area is interested), but I really want to get the game at home. All sopcast channels were offline during the game and I don't even know how the VLC channel works?? Any suggestions?
it didn?t work really well last week (cost me some nerve). There were only 2 Channels online, the VCL-Channel and the TVants Channel, but both were very inconsistent in terms of quality, the quality was great for some minutes, and then horrible for the next few minutes, i switched between the two during the entire game, pretty anoing! I hope it?s better this week! The VCL Channel is a Sopcast channel, but the integrated sopcast player can?t play it, so you have to play it via VCL player. Click on the link so that the channel starts on sopcast, then start your VCL player klick file->open networkstream->select HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS->put this in: http://127.0.0.1:8902-> klick OK-> enjoy the game you can watch all sopcast channels this way, the quality is often better if you watch it using the vcl player!
Usually when the Sopcast isnt working you have to transfer the stream to VLC. VLC is simply a player it doesnt have channels. I myself have found it a bit confusing at time trying to get the stream working correctly. If you check out the forums on the blogspot you can usually get great advice if there is a glitch. thats how i get informed. Don't worry since the Jets are on at 4 there will be people watching the early games on Sopcast so we can test it out then.
You know im surprised with the new package that Sunday Ticket is offering someone isnt able to get a good quality stream running. I wish i had a beefier comp and digital cable otherwise i would fo it myself. I end up usually watching the games at my parents place cause i get to hang with the pops and they have a Free to Air reciever which is a great investment. http://www.gosatellite.net/best_fta_receiver_1566_ctg.htm
streamtvnow.tv Is a great alternative if you don't mind forking over 16 bucks every 3 months. It's the pay version of Sopcast with better quality and no commercials and you can watch multiple games. I usually have 4-5 games running simultaneously on sundays
I tried that last year and they were always clogged up...then when you email them to complain, they terminate your membership...those guys were a-holes...does it work any better this year? And GJF...I copied the link from the blogspot website and tried to open it up in VLC player as a stream and I got nothing. Where did you get the stream link?
you have to klick the link on the blogsport page, so that the channel opens on sopcast. then leave sopcast open, start the vcl player and put in that link http://127.0.0.1:8902 to import the stream to your vlc player. sopcast and VCL have to run, that it workes. the link?s always the same, nomather what channel you watch on sopcast. Streams work better if you watch them on VCL!
dammit...the sopcast channel for the jets is offline! WTF?!! And the TV ants link times out. Why can't I ever get the jets game?
The channel is online now but it is playing the yankees game. WTF? Does anyone have info? Did the channel change?
skdlagladknfsal i hate living in boston. no jets on tv, no jets on my laptop, no jets on the radio. NO JETS AT ALL
F'n A...I got the Yankees game too...just paid $20 to sign up for Sportstvlive.us and all they did was show me the links to sopcast...and tvants isn't working either. Aargh...bout to hightail it to the sports bar if I can't find anything!
tvants://hive.tobroadcast.com/tvants/?k=8eaf40fea21a59327e29ddab07f3ead9 has th game not great quality though
