As a Jet fan, I've never really hated the Patriots. Sure, I root against them because it served the interests of the Jets, but I haven't actively "hated" them. The same can be said of both the Dolphins and Bills as well. In most sports, I usually dislike players, not teams (though as a Knick fan, I hated the Heat following that crazy brawl in the 90s but that was a short time). But not baseball. In baseball, I hate the Yankees with a passion. I bring this up because I was discussing hating baseball teams with a friend. I don't really hate the Braves or the Phillies. I don't know why; I just don't. But, after last year, I can't stand the Cardinals. I've never liked Eckstein, Edmonds, or LaRussa, and last year pushed me over the top. My friend thinks I'm weird for hating St. Louis more than Atlanta. I'm curious to hear if you guys feel the same way.
I completely hate Miami and the Pats, and even Oakland, and to some extent Buffalo, but in baseball I feel you.... I dislike the Braves, not hate them, but after last season, I HATE St Louis.... I guess recent wounds hurt more than old ones
I hate the Patriots, Dolphins, Yankees, Cardinals, Pistons, Red Wings, Blues, Blue Jackets and Astros. Does that make me a bad man?
I hate the Patriots, Yankees, Giants, Seahawks, Redskins, Rangers, Red Wings, A's, Steelers, 49ers, Eagles, Cubs, Penguins, Browns, Spurs, Duke, and probably a lot more. If I don't like a player, I usually end up hating the team they play for.
I hate the Patriots (after screwing CT) but my real hatred is the New York Yankees. I can't stand them (yet, I'm engaged to one, go figure.....yes I'm a Sox fan).
I hate the dolphins, patriots, bills, shehawks, and giants. I also hate Golden State and the Spurs, even though I respect them (SA, not GS). I probably don't hate the Red Sox as much as I should though... I guess I just feel a little sorry for them.
what about hatred for albert pujols. everybody thinks he is this great guy when in actuality hes a huge deuchbag. and as a met fan not hating the phils or braves theres something wrong there. the braves with that busch league chant and cant even sell out playoff games. horrible fans. and do you really need an excuse to hate a philly team? just a couple weekends ago i went down there when they were playing the mets and i got kicked out of the stadium bar cause some member of the shitty band that plays there picked a fight with me.
Good point about Pujols. Though I'm taking his side after the All Star Game thing. I rarely hate sports franchises. I don't know what it is.The Braves chant sucks, and I don't like their fans, but if it was October, the Mets were gone, and the Braves were playing say, the Astros, I wouldn't really have an interest either way. Same with Philly and their fans. Part of this is that I don't have much contact with fans of either team; maybe then I'd feel differently.

Braves fans suck because we won the division 14 years in a row and it got boring. The chant's nowhere near as annoying as having a high pitched gay guy with highlights as your team's spokeperson for close to 10 years. How is Albert Pujols a douchebag? Because he has a foundation for kids with down syndrome?

I can't stand when people do that. He obviously has his reasons for thinking that Pujols is the douchebag that he is. Just because he has a foundation for kids with down syndrome doesn't mean he can't possibly be a douchebag. Chris Benoit often did stuff with the Make-A-Wish foundation. He's still a douchebag.
