http://www.thejetsblog.com/2010/04/...ws/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I know we like to kick him around on occasion but we became used to him. Strange time to leave. Right before the draft.
It amazes me how long it took for ESPN to create ESPN New York considering how many professional sports teams we have. Was ESPN Boston really a logical first choice? Retards.
Cimini's outlook is grim and often annoying, but he's a pretty solid reporter who's usually out in front on a lot of Jets related business. I think he's pretty knowledgeable and I enjoy his insight. I think ESPN New York must have some vendetta against the Daily Snooze. -X-
Now I know why there's been no Jet draft talk on DNL and Wheelhouse. We better not get that arrogant F'er that cover the Giants Ralph V. He's such a douche.
I can kind of see Boston, but no way in hell should ESPN Dallas have been created before NY. Retards indeed.
I heard on the radio that ESPN NY was supposed to launch after Boston, but they lost some significant contributors at the last minute, so decided to push it back and add some new additions to the features while they did.
For heaven's sake, can we ever credit a writer for anything instead of just bashing? It really is annoying.
Boston came first because they knew New Englanders were most likely to bitch and moan if their rivals got the first site. Can you imagine the whining if ESPN NY had come first?
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5120486 Cimini's first article with ESPN New York.
Surprised and disappointed that he left the NY DN...paper isn't gonna shut down and his exposure drops a ton.....also, other columnists (i.e., Klapisch from the Record) are able to work for a paper and also do online stuff for ESPN or FoxSports.....surprised he isn't doing double-duty. Maybe ESPN offered him a big raise; if anybody runs into Rich, ask him if it was just a monetary decision or if he thinks it will lead to full-time stuff with parent ESPN. He's already off SNY.
His articles on ESPN are marked "special to ESPN New York", whatever that means. The other articles on the site by other writers don't have this.
