... or Hard Knocks. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets are reluctantly preparing for a 2023 'Hard Knocks' appearance Jets are bracing for an involuntary Hard Knocks assignment Personally... I would dig it.
They raised their hands and volunteered for it the moment they traded for him. Maybe try not being losers for over a decade.
The last time we did Hard Knocks, at least we weren't a slap-dick team. We made a deep playoff run, had some goddamn snacks. Good times.
Most of our players are Gen Z who spend all day looking at their phones. They live on the small screen, and they will ALL LOVE being on the big screen for the whole nation to watch! I will too! Hey, we just cut the chord and no longer have HBO (lol just in time for hard knocks!). Can someone please PM a good stream? (and no, not the $50 a month HBO stream!)
If you have solid leadership then Hard Knocks isn’t a distraction. The notion that any team who does the show is doomed is tired and wrong. If Saleh, Rodgers, Mosley, etc do their jobs then everything will be fine. The one and only thing I’d worry about is Q negotiations getting public. But hopefully that’s not even an issue.
Im curious. Seems you never see the top teams on it. Has a team on Hard Knocks actually made it to the SB the same year? Or even a deep playoff run? Has NE, TB, SF, Philly, KC or Buffalo among others ever been on Hard Knocks. I think is a bit of an NFL circus to sell more air time and target more bottom of the barrel teams that can least afford distractions. Entertainment is nice, winning is a hell of a lot better.
I hereby proclaim 2023 the Year of the Jets! Football Hall of Fame Game The Cleveland Browns will take on the New York Jets in the 2023 Hall of Fame Game at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Aug. 3, during Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. The matchup, which kicks off the National Football League's 104th season in the city where the League was born, will take place in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium — adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It will be the Browns' sixth time playing in the Hall of Fame Game. Their most recent appearance in Canton came in 1999 — the first game the franchise played after resuming operations. The Jets have played twice in Canton but not since 1992. JOE KLECKO and DARRELLE REVIS will be enshrined two days later as members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2023. Football fans are gonna be sick of the NY Jets by seasons end...
The system is setup so that the good teams never have to deal with it. It’s like no playoff teams, no first year head coaches and haven’t been on in 3 years or something along those lines.
Correct on new head coach, but its two year window on playoff appearance and if it's been within 10 years on the show. My money is Jets getting it this year.
