Saw an article the other day about them putting the Jets back on HK, but probably not back to back. Although if Rex wins the SB, NFL Films and HBO may consider a back to back Hard Knocks.
there's not another team on the planet that would draw the crowd that the jets would round 2. it's all about ratings. i'd not be surprised one bit, and would love to see it.
It's been a good season so far for sure, but I don't think you loved the 45-3 drubbing did you? How about when Keller stepped out of bounds on fourth down against the Ravens, losing that game for Gang Green? The Packers shutout was not so great either. All that being said, it is good to have a perennially competitive team to root for. The New York Jets will be playing in back to back AFC Championship games. Who'd have thunk? J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
Two more wins. But I've been a Jet fan since '86..Lotta dark days, and today for the second time ('98 Parcells) I felt like we could make the big game. Its a great Jet year Rex I love ya!!!
Having our cockiness/cofidence documented on Hard Knocks and then winning it all would just make a sick, sick DVD. Could be 2 god damm hrs. and HBO should do a 30 minute recap after our Super Bowl win
Imagine if we can complete this? this would be the ultimate season for ANY nfl team. Hard Knocks, tons of stories(dui, inez sains, foot fetish, sideline tripping, revis holdout,etc.) then to beat Manning, Brady, and Roethlisberger ooooh booy.
I have to say something about Rex. This is the best coach that I have seen from the Jets in my lifetime as a jets fan, we had about an 11 year span from 1998 to 2009 to reach this damn game and he has already done it in two consecutive years (his first years). I don't care if in the future he has some bad years as a coach, but I expect that he will be our coach for a very long freakin' time cause this guy can really bring us exciting seasons.
I would like to see HBO do some new things w/HK - for example - expand HK in order to feature 1 afc & 1 nfc team per summer and do some spotlight features on various camps to get a sense of how different teams are preparing simultaneously. It would be interesting to see different coaching philosophies and franchises contrasted.
