Happy Father's Day folks... I have 2 of my own kids and being at the receiving end of the celebrations and not giving it back to my own father makes it bittersweet. Lost my hero 9 years, 1 month and 14 days ago. Enough with the drama. Today kids threw me a delicious breakfast and I will return the favor by cooking my world famous steak for dinner.
Thank you Brook! I have one son and two grandkids. Two years ago my son sent me a hand written Father's Day card saying how much he loved me, appreciated how he was brought up and hopes to do the same for his two kids. I was deeply touched, and my hope is that all fathers (and mothers) receive similar sentiments from their children sometime in their lives.
