He's the home run player in this draft that we need. That's what makes this offseason an A+, that what will make our receiving corps the best in the league.

Now as we all know the Raiders will take Cooper ahead of us so we have to find a way to get ahead of them. This guy is worth it.

You think so? Over a dominant, pass rushing OLB?

We still need an offensive line to protect a needed quarterback in order to get Mr. Cooper the ball.

Cooper would be a great addition to any team. He's going to be very good.

My targets at #6 are still 1. Mariota 2. White 3. Cooper. Any of those 3 would be good to me. Still, decent odds all are gone by #6.

Off the top of my head I can't think of one that matches Marshall, Decker, Cooper, Kerley. Maybe Denver on a good day?

I think Green Bay would be better for sure. Cooper hasn't played one down in the NFL yet, hard to make him one of the centerpieces of the best receiving corps in the NFL I think.

This is why I hope we can sign Harvin back at a reduced rate. But, he'll probably end up going to the Pats =/

Marshall-Decker-Harvin-Kerley would be the best WR trio in the league. At the very least, top 3.

Lol if we traded up to get Amari Cooper, I would want Mac fired.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's the best WR on the board. But trading up? Really?

I think with Decker, Marshall, Amero, Kerley the Jets will pass on A WR early this year. Lots of talent to be had all over the draft tho.

I think we should trade back and pick up a RT--then move Breno to RG or have him as the reserve T. I personally like Peat but could go with others.

After that, start trying to get the sexy players.

I'mk not even sure he is the best receiver after watching the combine but I certainly wouldn't trade up for any receiver unless I had a franchise QB to throw to him.

I'd take White over Cooper. Even beyond my bias as a WVU fan. I think White is a more complete package. That being said, you can always get a solid receiver in round 2, and the Jets still need offensive line help. If White/Cooper and the top offensive lineman are available, flip a coin.
I really think drafting a qb early would be a stupid move for this franchise. Too many holes elsewhere. Build up the team this year, and if Fitz/Geno shit the bed, draft a guy round one next year.
Or take Petty in round 4 if he's there and groom him for a year to take over if Geno isn't the long term answer.
