Groh thinks Jets got keeper in Ferguson By: Craig Thomas Date: May 26, 2006 didnt see this on here but sorry if its a repost
Without doing much thinking, I can immediately come up with James Farrior and Tiki Barber. Isn't Marc Bulger a UVA product also?
Ronde Barber (20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers DB Tiki Barber (21) New York Giants RB Aaron Brooks (2) Oakland Raiders QB James Farrior (51) Pittsburgh Steelers LB Thomas Jones (20) Chicago Bears RB Patrick Kerney (97) Atlanta Falcons DE Heath Miller (83) Pittsburgh Steelers TE Monsanto Pope (75) New York Jets DT Matt Schaub* (8) Atlanta Falcons QB Jamie Sharper (55) Seattle Seahawks Jamaine Winborne (37) Baltimore Ravens CB I put a * next to Schaub because he has been put behind a QB he is better than.
You make my point perfect 11 U of VA in 70 some odd years of the NFL. Most of the names on the list are not what I would call household.

So 70 or so since 82 or a average of 2. something of other per year. 1st if you thru the group most were joirneyman at best & far less then stellar & having a average of over 2 players per year is also not so stellar.
