Should we start to get worried? This guy hasn’t been good and even his makes are shaky and are inches away from missing.
It was a kick he has to make. He was outplayed in camp by Seibert but they kept him on anyway. Seibert made 7 kicks in a game just a couple weeks ago. Bad call again by the front office
Zuerlein is crap. He cost us the game. He has looked like crap all year. He missed any easy one last week too. He missed his last 2 preseason kicks in 2024 and 1 of them wasn't even close. Cut him now and don't let him cost us other games.
That's exactly where I am as well. Gregg was outplayed in preseason and the FO had to pick the best guy. They didn't. Gregg missed field goals for two games in a row. Also even the ones his makes are barely in. Not saying it's his fault we lost, but I am saying he is old and looks to be finished and we need a better kicker going forward.
50 yards in the heavy rain is not a gimme for any kicker… I am more worried based on his miss last week and the near misses today.
He was the only one that put points on the board. Although he missed the game winner he gave us multiple opportunities to win.
The conditions for kicking were fine. There was no heavy rain, maybe slight drizzle. Granted their kicker also missed, but he did make 47 yarder. Greg is 0 for 2 in 40+ this year, had a terrible preseason. The only kicks he is making are the easy ones, and even these barely. I am very concerned. We probably need to have a kicking competition..
Ok you guys saying GZ is hardly the best kicker and a JD mistake are right..the guy has been on and off a dozen NFL teams But to rely on our bad kicker in slick conditions to make a game winner …is really bad in itself . And in my opinion you suck as a team if you can’t win against an inferior opponent. In short the whole team and CS should have kicked Denver’s ass and avoided that scenario to begin with I am never going to subject myself and my son to such a miserable experience sitting in the rain and paying Woody J $75 for Parking?????
