no disrespect but i dont get some of you who say draft an OL with the 4th pick. when you're picking that high you look for players who will take you to the super bowl one day. regardless we need a qb of the future , ramsey is dead weight from the deadskins scrap heap and we all know how fragile chad is, even if he never has another big injury hes still gonna be 30 in a few months and they were days away from releasing him so i doubt mangini has long term plans for chad

hopefully we get leinart, i dont want young at all. I'm sure mike T will be in heavy discussions with the saints and a move to 2

I want a QB at #4. We don't need to move up and Matt still will be there at #4.

We're back to the QB at 4 stuff, eh? I noticed that the post says that we need to draft A QB at 4 but appears that what you meant is we need to draft Leinart at 4. Would you be UPSET if we drafted Young? How about Cutler? I agree with the premis of the post just not the selection. Me? I want me some Vince. However, I DEFINATELY could live with either of the other two.

My thoughts on Hollywood are: weak arm, smart QB, maybe heart is in another place and maybe one of his advisors is Tara Reid

I want Williams, he will be a game changing DE, and I agree that #4 should be a game changer, but just do not feel that Leinart is that

Heart is another place is quite a harsh comment IMO. Also the "hollywood" stuff I think can be a positive in that I have less concerns of him being able to handle the lifestyle/pressure of being a high profile player in New York. He showed how well he can handle the hype and attention this past year at USC.

As I said before, I'm all for Leinart. I think he's the only player worth selecting at #4. Stay far, far away from Young. The only reason any body thinks he's anything, is because he tore apart a pop warner defense in the Rose Bowl. That defense couldn't stop a high school team.

if we draft a QB, i think that it should be Jay Cutler... NOT AT #4 THOUGH! I think that we trade down and stay in the top-10, and take the BPA, which might be Cutler... even though there are the negative arguments about him, i think that he is the QB best suited to play for the Jets. He is tough, has a good arm to get through the Meadowlands winds, and he is used to having to improv behind a weak O-Line & he is fairly mobile

exactly.. you think new england wins because of their line or their defense? or even their coaching? Seriously, they were coming off of a 5-11 season with that line and D and coaching staff, and heading into another one, when a little guy called Tom Brady took over and the rest is history. Pennington and Ramsey have shown that they have nor will never be a Tom Brady. We have to get one, and with the number 4 pick in the draft, its our best opportunity. (we aren't gonna get lucky and have it fall into our laps like the Pats!)

Yeh I suppose it was a bit harsh, but with what I have read and what I have seen happen in prior instances it could fail, I do not want a risk at all with number 4 overall, Bush is all around good on personal and play, Williams and Hawk do not have risks, D'Brick maybe a bit small but not a big deal, Young has wonderlic and transition issues, Leinart has possible personality issues, arm strength, maybe he was a go between for a talented supporting cast, I guess just to many question marks for me

If we do pick him I hope I am proven wrong, and I will cheer him just like any Jets QB

While I have no clue what the Jets plans are, I don't think they need a QB. While I will jump for joy if they get Leinart, if I were the Jets, I try and paint it as if their were gonna switch picks with the Saints for Leinart, and then take Williams. There are plenty of quality OL in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I think a #4 pick is a bit too much for a OL.

I agree! QB or bust with the #4 pick.

No matter how great Brick is, he's not taking us to a SB by himself, we can draft a solid line in the 2nd/3rd rounds or later. But we have a golden opportunity to get a franchise QB - who knows when we will have such a high pick again?

I say - draft Leinart or Young!
