there is no way in my mind that Schweigert is worse than either James ihedigbo or Cameron Worrell. So yes i would give Schweigert a look see. Surprised to see woodson cut. he is also a guy i wanted over ainge.

Stu Schweigert was a Giant? Man, I'm out of the loop lately.

Giants waived Woodson and released Anthony Wright. That's a lot of faith put in Mittens Carr. I hope Andre gets practice-squad'd, at least.

I do like Woodson's rocket arm. But he is definitely more of a project than Ainge. Woodson's accuracy is poor according to the scouts. He throws it all over the place. And the guy is reported to have had lots of picks in practice. That doesn't inspire confidence.

Also Woodson had a wonderlic score of 14. Ouch. Ainge had a 3.4 GPA and was Academic All-SEC.

I'd rather see what we can get out of Ainge.

Woodson holds the ball so long he makes it seem like David Carr is making quick decisions. No thx at all. I'll take our chances with the three young backups we have now.
