wow...that's a message. I still haven't seen the official inactive list yet, but doubt MF would say it if he wasn't sure about it.

I feel wrong saying it, but I feel that 2008 is a lost cause for Gholston.

He'll be ready for his sophomore year, watch.

According to NFL Network Mangini said "It's time for rookies to stop being rookies, I mean it." They then confirmed that Gholston is inactive for today.

On the Bills front Edwards will be inactive as well and Losman will start.

I'm hoping this is because they're going to activate Clowney, but they also need someone on ST, and he's not going to play ST. Please....

yeah, it was also mentioned on the show that Clowney is active.

The guy said he actually expected Clowney to be activated weeks ago.

    Inactives: Vernon a no-Gho
    December 14, 2008
    Vernon Gholston, take a seat.

The Jets' top draft pick, the sixth overall choice, was declared inactive for today's game against the Bills - a mildly surprising development. Gholston has been a major disappointment, and this confirms how far he has dropped in the eyes of the organization. Some have felt that he should've been inactive weeks ago, that the club kept him active because it didn't want to admit the obvious.

Gholston was not listed on the injury report, so this appears to be a coaching decision.

In essence, Gholston was replaced on the 45-man roster by TE Bubba Franks, who had been inactive in the previous seven games.

As expected, WR David Clowney is active, replacing injured WR Brad Smith (concussion).

    Other inactives:
    PK Mike Nugent
    QB Brett Ratliff (3rd QB)
CB Drew Coleman (awful game last week)
    S J.R. Reed
    CB David Barrett
    LB Jason Trusnik

He can line up next to Schlegel at mangini's next offseason wesleyan camp.

That oughta stop the 12 year old's running wild.....or maybe not!!

Kid is a bust simple as that...does he get cut at end of training camp next year.
