    Just wondering, whats the best way to get to the NMS from the city. I just moved here 2 weeks ago, and I'm stoked to go to my first game.

    Btw I'm first leaving from my office in White Plains if that makes a difference...

    LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!

    edit: should mention that i'll be using public transportation

    Driving from White Plains...

    I would go over the TZ rather than the George. Get off first exit, take 9W south. Once you cross into Jersey take the Palisades south. Follow signs to Turnpike. I usually make the left at the first light, turning in front of that gas station. Go to next light and make the right. Entrance to the Turnpike is on the left right before the next light. This will put you on the local side of the Turnpike rather the express lanes. Less traffic. Take to NMS.

    Ftr I take 9W not only because it is a nicer drive, but I hate going all the way west to the interchange with the Palisades.

    There are trains running from Penn Station to the stadium. Just get yourself to Penn (is there a station in White Plains?), then get upstairs to the NJ Transit section and follow the signs. Check if you can buy a round-trip ticket from your Metro-North station (I could from the LIRR), otherwise you'll need to buy another ticket at Penn.

    Penn-->Secaucus Junction-->Meadowlands.

    The problem is you have to get from Grand Central to Penn. Not the worst connection in the world, but not the best, either.

    And yes, LOL, there is a train station in White Plains.

    Riiiiiiiiight. Forgot Metro-North goes to GC. Guess there's no direct ticket, then.

    Meh. It'll make for a nice, brisk walk on this beautiful day. Or a smelly subway/cab ride, whatever floats your boat.
