Tell-tale sign of a perennial winners is, they know how to close the game when the clock ticks down.

Jets surely had their chance to slam the door shut; instead they opened the floodgate.

Seriously, guys. Losing a won game is not a sign of a winner. That is the first vice I almost always teach to the chess students. If you have done so much to build up the advantage, you must seal the deal. You can't just flub and lose the game that was already won.

I just don't know what the fuck Geno was thinking when he threw the pick. It was pretty much about the dumbest thing he could possibly do. It was one of these Sanchez plays that we got so fed up with. Just what the fuck?

Think about it. Under 2 minute. With the ball in scoring range. What is your primary objective? Scoring is not the primary objective, people. Milking the clock is. He didn't need to take that shot downfield. Rather, he shouldn't have. Little dinks and dunks were about all Jets needed at that instance (1) and he had a man open for just that (2). Remember - Packers had all three time outs. They weren't going to burn it unless Jets got into 3rd-and-long and 4th down FG/punt situation. [Pretty obvious.] This means, with 1 time out, Jets could burn the clock as much as they could before settling for a FG. [Or better yet, ram the ball down their throat for TD.] All in all, they shouldn't be gambling with the chance to give Rodgers sufficient time.

Stat lines will say Geno did a decent job - but stat line doesn't tell the whole story. You can feel how the momentum went over to their side with Geno's pick. His performance was pitiful to say the very least. You just can't lose a won game if you want to compete in this league. Period.

Yes, of course I do. That 97 yard drive DID NOT NEED TO HAPPEN.

I blame the 97 yard drive...The Geno INT I think was on Marty...He called that play when it was unnecessary

His performance wasn't pitiful not even a little bit. That was a clutch throw he made on 4th down with game on the line for a game tying TD its not his fault theres no order on the sidelines. And the Interception Sudfield could have easily stopped that from happening if he had 1 or 2 brain cells.I thought Geno looked good out there

they went for the kill. it wasn't the worst idea. i question why it was sudfeld running the route over amaro or cumby. but they got there big t.e. in a good match up for a jump ball.if protection holds up it might have worked.
97 yard drives should never happen though

Just to clear the air a bit, this is not a knock on Geno. This is a knock on the entire team. That stupid play call, stupid execution and choking. Everybody fucked up. Just, Geno's pick stood out to me, so I talked a little more about it.

P.S. And, I reiterate. Going for the knock-out punch TD pass was not the best strategy in the given situation. I have explained why. See if that makes any sense to you.

This is the kind of game a young team loses.

He got hit as he threw. This is the 2nd week in a row Geno had one of those bad luck INT's.

i agree with this. all we needed was anybody to make a play without someone else fucking shit up.
hustle off the field and we have a pick deep in gb territory.
winters makes a block and maybe we hit on the t.d worst case is it is probably high and uncatchable for anyone
    the t.o.
    wilkerson
    hakim to open the half
everyone had their hand in making this a shit storm. when that happens the blame lays at the top
