Jets and Perriman have mutual interest. Now my opinion if it could happen. At the right price worth taking back. Seems to fit the system. I could see resigning him, signing Samuel and releasing Crowder and maybe adding Fuller. Something like that. I'd like but just what I like to see. Think it's a way to add two guys at a comfortable price and look at the first four wrs on the team and feel it's a solid group. Not great but solid. Mims Perriman Fuller Samuel
Completely agree but I think he will be aggressive for Thuney or Linsley. I think he calls and says you're average is $15 million a year. I'll come to $18 for two guarantee them and the next two average to 15. Try to get Thuney with some front money. If he goes elsewhere he turns to Linsley quickly and offers something similar. If both guys go elsewhere then I don't know what he does. JD is a good selling point. Time to see how Saleh recruits.
The fact that they haven't re-signed Perriman tells me they aren't that interested and he's at best a fall back plan if they botch their initial free agent receiver plans.
Gronkowski and Fournette at least remains unsigned, probably just a matter of time until they aren't.
Remember last year when Douglas did not make a move all day and his first move was to pay (what seemed to be too much) to George Fant? Ah, 2020. Great memories......
I’m a little wary of NE OL....there have been several in recent years that leave for big money and suck it up. They hold a lot there for Brady and never get called for it....I think that shows up when they leave there. Solder, Brown, etc. there may be one or two more. I like Thuney and we need the help but I’d be a bit nervous committing crazy money
Most of them get extended or tagged by the team they got drafted by. Shows that we need to find some studs in the draft. Would be nice if Q and Becton got second contracts with us in a few years.
Also....nothing can be inked until Wednesday, right? we all remember the Barr fiasco where he agreed early then changed his mind
I still don't like this FA class. The only thing I'm interested in is a new K. If Douglas goes full-Macc then he should be fired.
I really would like Curtis Samuel. Only 24 years old and I feel like he is coming into his own as a play maker
