I'm genuinely sad, he was one of my favorites during his prime and I was hopeful he would be great with us on the Jets. But he was past his prime skills...You never heard a bad thing about him and all indications are he was a great person. Really sucks, sounds like a medical issue from an old car crash he had.
Oh, man, died presumably from a seizure. At least people in his life were looking after him. I wouldn't be surprised if the seizures were football-related somehow. Sudden onset epilepsy in his early 30s? Something about this made me really sad even though I didnt't know the guy. RIP. https://abc7.com/demaryius-thomas-death-broncos-cause/11319580/ EDIT: I forgot about the car crash @RPOZ51. The seizures could be related to one or both, who is to say.
I also forgot President Obama commuted his Grandmother's and his Mother's prison sentences. He petitioned Obama about his Grandmother personally over her life sentence after Denver won the SB. Petition granted.
Always sad when a person dies. Even sadder when its someone you're remotely familiar with. DT gave us all he had left in the tank. RIP DT
I liked him. The Jets get a lot of these guys that are past their prime and just looking to cash in with a few shitty teams before they hang it up, but I never got that vibe from DT. When he was healthy he always seemed to lay it all out there. That's a hard thing to do when you have no hope of winning anything significant. He looks to be equally well liked among his peers. RIP
Such sad news. There really aren't any words that can really convey how sad of a thing this is. Was glad to have gotten to see him play and to have had him, however briefly, as a member of the Jets organization. RIP
That is one of the saddest things I have ever heard. Such a young man. Condolences to his family and friends.
