If the Jets win out we're in. Even better if the Jets win out and Denver wins next week we wind up in Indianapolis on wild card weekend and then in San Diego in the divisional round, both places where the Jets can win with a few breaks. It's a lot of ifs but the possibility for a magical finish is in front of us now.
Normally Id write losses for each of those, for some Strange reason the Jets are a better road team than a home team. It doesnt hurt that we play in a dome when against Indy. Another nice thing to know is the last 6th seeded team from the AFC went all the way and won the SB. . Though I doubt we repeat what Pitt did.
We beat Indy 41-0 in the playoffs in 2002 with Manning, Harrison and James on the other side of the field. We beat a 13 win San Diego team twice in 2004 including the playoffs in San Diego and they had Brees, Tomlinson and Gates on the field. We can beat those two teams in the playoffs even if we're in their house as substantial underdogs.
Thats A cool tidbid and all, but you and I both know that LT and Manning have gotten MUCH better since those playoff defeats.
I just want to get into the playoffs...but if they do wind up playing in San Diego, you can bet yo arse I'll be there.
I was talking about the Raiders. But don't worry. We're gonna bury your team of little crying babies.
LT yes, but Manning is still the same choker he's always been. Indy's defense is a lot worse this year, too. And Pennington is great in a dome. That would be the best scenario for us.
Jets pretty much are in with a win tomorrow night, GO JETS! I've been waiting for this all year, and it looks like the playoffs are finally gonna become a reality!
NO GAME IN THE NFL IS "CAKE" Please do not chalk anything up as a WIN. Win the games, do not get overconfident.
