    Shhhh! :D

....I will say this though. If we had the D we have now last season, and Brandon Marshall on offense, do you think we would have won at least 9 or 10 games, even with Geno still being shaky? I do.

We have gotten better, but the division has gotten tougher, much tougher. Best case we could be fighting for a playoff spot. Miami, Buffalo and NE will have a drag out battle amongst themselves for sure, as well as with us. We need to win the non division games to be in the hunt. All this of course dependent on key injuries.

We would have won 8 given the tough schedule.

With an easier schedule this year, I see 9 or 10 wins, though we could win fewer if we can't beat our division rivals who have all improved (except for the Pats.)

With competent QB play we can be the 2010 jets

Ceiling with adequate QB play is 11 games, floor is 8.

I put a wide range bc it would entirely depend on how the other pieces fall into place given all the changes.

Average qb play will put is in contention to win any single game we play this season. Anywhere from 8-11 wins is in range if we have competent qb play.

exactly, we could get good qb play and still end up 2-4 in the division. this team isnt he 2000 ravens just looking for tis trent dilfer... we have big questions on special teams, the offensive line, and in the backfield

Agreed - any talk of being a Super Bowl contender is premature until we see how the defense gels, but I definitely think a playoff push will be possible if the guy under center (or in the shotgun) isn't a complete horse's ass.

If the Jets can get competent QB play they will be better off than they have been in quite a while. It's way too early to predict anything more than that.

With a average (15-25) QB this team would be 12-4, but with Geno (below average) even the best Defense in the league won't be able to get more than 9, 10 at the most. If we had a good (5-15) QB this team would be awesome. With a elite (1-5) QB we would be SB bound. Hard to believe our new GM and HC ignored the most important position on a team. Made even worse by not having open competition at every position.
