Hehehe... Yes, everyone has been beating me up this year with the "It's more important that your QB have more TD passes" argument over having Penny, who hasn't gotten a lot of TDs this year. But his team has as many wins as the Jets, so what good is all the TD's Favre hucks if we don't end up with more wins? Our problem appears to have never been at the QB position.
No, the key stats are how much you improve your team. How would the team do without you or with you? You also have to look at how many times you turn the ball over, etc. etc. etc.
IS, I said this on another thread. What is the point here? Can you answer that? Chad is gone. He's not our QB. He's not coming back. If you and the other Chad Fans want to root for him, that's fine. I suggest you will find many likeminded people at places like Finheaven. But here? I think the Chad Love threads should be torched as the threads here are supposed to be about the New York Jets. If Favre wasn't Favre, and Clemens was playing the way Favre is, i'd be interested in seeing what everyone's reaction would be. Favre is nothing more then an average QB, at this point in his career.
What are you talking about? Don't you remember that Chad was 1-8 as a starter last year?!?!? The NFL is not only about who is behind center. There are other players on the team, not to mention the CS. Learn the game.
I am not a Chad lover. I agree it was time for him to go, but Favre is not winning games for us.He doesn't scare anyone deep, anymore. I think our coaching staff has been exposed.
