So I've done little prep as I thought I was going to skip this season but got talked into joining two standard yahoo leagues at the last minute. Drafts are this week... any tips on websites I can find good fantasy players reviews so I can cram? The draft is extremely important in both these leagues as they are large leagues so I will need to get off to a good start.

    Thanks in advance.

razzball.com - the guy writes a lot. so there are usually blurbs and his thought process laid out. he's kind of out there but i find it more entertaining to read than just straight numbers/projections.

the rotoworld forums - just to get an idea of what other people are thinking.

fantasyrundown.com - this is just a site that collects fantasy news from a bunch of other sites. it's nice to have everything gathered in one place.

I'm a fan of the stud running back theory. Draft rbs in the first two rounds, unless their name is calvin johnson/Larry fitzgerald

If you don't want to pay anything, I honestly really just use google for my drafts. ESPN, CBS, FOX, MLB all have fantasy baseball sections you can look on. Use them, google players, use Twitter to find breaking news for them if there's something you're missing. It's not perfect, but it's what I was using for my draft last night. And I had done little to no prep.

Thanks. Didn't have enough time to prepare that way. I miss the good old days when I could go to a news stand and buy a preview mag, but living where I do now that's impossible.

In the end the guy running the league switched to auto-draft a couple of hours before the draft which completely pissed me off because I woke up at 6am for it so I could do the live draft with my friends back in the states only to see I wasted my time. I did ok, but my team isn't balanced (due to autodraft). I have great pitching, shit hitting... and my bench is full of guys on the DL r going to the minors so I'll need to make some quick moves. It'll be ok.

    Fantasy question guys...

I have Giancarlo Stanton and was offered Jose Reyes for him. Should I take it? I don't really trust Reyes honestly. I have Pheralta as my SS.

if you think reyes can last the season, take it.

    if not, forget it.

i probably wouldn't but i also have stanton on my team. and watching stanton highlights is fun.

Absolutely not. I think Stanton can become a great hitter for this year and Reyes always has a mandatory dl visit.
