Faneca & Jets tentatively agree to 4-year contract

    i just got a text on my phone from espn that jets signed faneca 4 years 32million...i hope they arent toying with my emotions...

    ESPNEWS bottom has ESPN's.com Michael Smith reporting that Jets and G Alan Faneca have agreed to a 4 year deal.

    Clayton got outscooped by a fellow ESPN guy. :lol:

    Guards such as Eric Steinbach, Derrick Dockery, Leonard Davis and Kris Dielman all signed new contracts last spring, either as free agents with new teams or extensions with their incumbent franchises, and all received deals worth about $7 million per year. None of those players has ever appeared in a Pro Bowl game.

    I thought this was interesting.... getting this guy @ 8 million per is a steal
