Seemed like every team in the NFL stopped wearing pink this week but the Jets. Is it league mandated that they have to keep wearing it all month?
many teams wore it and it's not mandated(as far as i know) but it would be pretty horrible to express to all the breast cancer victims in the world that we can't help raise awareness for the cause, because "it might mess with my win streak"
Right it's the pink..... My wife has cancer..I should run upstairs and tell her, honey this is your fault. Jackass.
I didn't hear him blame the losses on cancer or people with cancer... he blamed it on the change in uniform... lighten up guys. My family has been deeply effected by cancer, both my parents and my sister. It was a joke about superstition not cancer victims.
My dad, my brother and my wife. I just think it's a dumb thing to blame it on. The pink they were wearing was the ONLY positive sign from this dismal collection of crap they put on the field.
If thats the case you dont title the thread "Fuck the pink" when we all know what the pink stands for.
Fair enough... maybe this guy is a douche bag, I don't know. It was the first time I read any of his posts and clearly he is now banned. Maybe I'm missing something here about him but I thought the reaction was a bit over done for simply pointing out the team has been playing like shit since they started wearing pink. I know I changed my pre-game routine today, broke out and old jersey, and wore a different hat today just trying to break the negative mojo... athletes and fans can be very superstitious. I thought his comment was along the same lines not an attack on cancer victims.
Bad choice of words .. This was supposed to be one of those "Panic" thread. This wasn't supposed to be against the cause. I thought I just pointed out that we were 0-3 since wearing pink and it was all on the equipment. I obviously overlooked the cause. My apologies to those who were offended. Got a 1 day ban for the profanity.
hey man we all make mistakes. i personally appreciate you coming back in and stating your original intentions and apoligizing to those offended.
