"Let's be honest, everyone knew going into this season that the Patriots weren't going to be that good. The Buffalo win was a fluke win, Tom Brady is coming off a knee injury, and they lost half their defense."
Wow you guys are talking like we've already won the game... I would love nothing more than to see the Jets go out there and win 35-6 but that isn't going to happen. Just as much as our guys are getting up for this game so is the team up north. We have a rookie QB, a rookie HC and are missing one of our best defensive stars. As shitty as they looked last week and as good as we did it means nothing as of now. Tomorrow at this time if we win everybody will be talking as if we are going to the SB... it's a long season and no tomorrow is not just another game but lets wait until we win the game before we start thinking of excuses.... anyway who gives a shit what those whiny losers up north think... if the Jets win they're the better team and no excuses can change that.
Like Kerry Rhodes saying the Jets want to embarrass the Patriots? Screw it man, I'm on board... Jets 66 - Patriots 0
While I still plan on playing the game of this thread, I agree 100%. It's a long season and tomorrow isn't today yet.
"Our Jarrof Mayo was empty and as much as Bill cracked the Miracle Whip he couldn't beat Rodney Harrison into Guyton"
Man, some of you guys have short memories. This NE game has been the reality check game for the Jets the last few years. Every year, we all get fired up and start thinking that this is the year that we crush the Patriots and own the division. Then, the reality hits that they are still a far better team than the Jets. Remember last year when they didn't have a chance because Matt Cassell was playing QB?? Sorry, but I will resist the temptation to start being overconfident until we start consistently beating these pricks. I think that many of you guys are setting yourselves up for a harsh disappointment.
