No terms yet, but they'd better hope he stays healthy. I wonder what Joe Douglas is thinking right now.

Four years, $128 million with £107.9 million in total guarantees. For a man who has never played in a playoff game and who can't stay healthy. I see his potential, but these contracts are crazy.

Odd that they guaranteed the money in pounds sterling, with the guarantee worth more than the total amount of the contract, eh? ;)

Not with the trajectory of our economy. It’s quite a clever move by the Eagles to guarantee against weakening foreign currency. This is why the Jets need Douglas.

    Smart move and well structured.
Basically paying an extra $35 mill in guaranteed money for 4 additional years. Plus structured the bonus and salary so he will avg $26-27 mill per year the additional 4 years. Cheap by today's #s, Likely a steal under the next CBA.
