    That makes no sense.

They should trade several draft picks for Clemens instead.

it makes less than zero sense... you are going to trade Kolb, then sign burt to take Vicks starting job? Or is he there just to ride the pine? Because that doesn't make any sense for him either? He should just fucking give it up. Nobody wants to see his ass on the field anymore.

Go back to mississippi you dumb hick

Hahaha... he'll be back. Someway... somehow. Some team's QB1 will probably go down and they will call him off the couch a al Testeverde style. And BAM! Favre will be back in the spotlight.

We are never gonna be rid of Favre.

A great point was brought up on NFL radio this morning. You may see alot of recently retired players return for one year to get the health benefits for life in the new CBA. Stories like this may have legs going forward.

Very capable backup (especially helpful when Kolb is traded), the QB knowledge he could pass onto Vick (not that he's a rookie, but how could it not be helpful), Vick is kind of injury prone, etc.

Brett is 145 years old and has ended 2 of his last 3 seasons injured.

Im sure Favre is pissing his pants on the thought of backing up an NFL QB.

True, definitely a good point, but I think part of the appeal is that Favre wouldn't have to play the full schedule, rather just fill in a few times, assuming it wouldn't be a season-ending injury if Vick goes down.

Of course, he had to leave that MNF Bears game fairly quickly, but I think that was concussion-related, stemming from the initial Bills game injury? I might be wrong on that, can't remember for sure.

    Vick is injury prone
especially with the way he plays

Farve might not sign with them but if vick goes down after the trade deadline and farve is available why the hell not?
